Who thinks there’s too much to keep up with in the news? And who thinks that so much of it is so upside down that it seems intentional?
The US is being flushed down the commode, turned into a wasteland where too many Americans are manipulated and confused.
So much of everything is a wreck, surreal, like a dystopian fantasyland. There’s nothing you can say is normal.
The economy is in terrible shape, but we’re being told it’s robust. Incriminating evidence has come out on various politicians, but it’s called misinformation and is censored to “protect our democracy,” as the same politicians say. A boy can be a girl, a girl can be a boy, and either can be another gender out of the 68 to choose from.
How many Two-Spirits are out there? And what does that even mean?
Illegal migrants are flooding the southern border, bussed to the big cities, and draining cash from services relegated to taxpayers. The war in Ukraine is prodded on by politicians who get rich from it. And the war in the Middle East has the ruling class so confused on which side to support that the possibility of supporting both sides has become a serious issue. Do you ever wonder why?
It’s tragic. The US is freefalling to cesspool mania where common sense is too difficult to use and everyone emotes too much. But it’s also comic that the blatant incompetence of our politicians and appointed bureaucrats continues without even a muscle twitch of resistance.
So, we’re all to blame for the tragic comedy of the US and its self-inflicted degradation.
From self-sufficient world power to weakling, chaotic, banana republic in just a few short generations. Rome didn’t reach its demise this quickly.
The parallels are there as the US will be linked to the Roman Empire every time historical comparisons of fallen nations are discussed.
Currency devaluation is a comparison. Rome devalued its currency by stamping coins with less precious metal as it wasn’t able to find the silver and gold needed for money to keep its value. The US was taken off the gold standard decades ago, allowing the Federal Reserve to print phony cash for more than 50 years. The worthless paper in your pocket can’t buy much these days.
The Roman political system became less significant as time wore on. Julius Caesar commandeering political power was effective to overcome the problems of his time, but subsequent emperors devolved in their abilities, becoming more hedonistic and less statesmanlike.
In the US we devolved a bit differently. Politicians disregard our founding documents to consolidate power and get rich by way of their corporate overseers. Remember the TPP and other trade treaties? Laws are made to protect politicians and their incompetent policies. That’s why the Bill of Rights is being decimated.
Do you think our politicians are respectable enough to be called statesmen or stateswomen?
Remember the covideception orders forced on the public? Masks, lockdowns, and experimental vaccines have all been proven to be detrimental to your health. Censorship, gun regulation, illegal migration, inflation, energy dependence, indoctrinating children and loyalists, and embarrassing, second-rate foreign policy are all parts of the crappy melodrama we’re watching.
So, we got what Rome got 1,500 years ago — a downgrade to incompetent dictatorship.
When Rome became weak militarily, it allowed foreigners to become citizens in exchange for army service, weakening the values that the republic was based on. Cultural norms and mores changed, and so did laws, weakening immigration. The intangible side of the downfall — a society whose culture deteriorated.
Does that sound familiar?
We hear sound bites from politicians like “diversity is our strength.’’ Meanwhile, American culture is quickly being crushed by enticing the population of the world to overwhelm the US. Too many different cultures from far away, and too many people will eat away the values and culture of any society. Yes, cultural diversity is a great characteristic of the US, but when it overwhelms your society, it creates too much confusion. Communities become less adhesive. That can’t be good.
In New York, Mayor Eric Adams has already complained that the migrants are smashing huge dents in the city’s financial resources. How many other cities will experience the same?
How many of these migrants are on the terror watch list and have been overlooked and allowed to pass freely? Are any of the migrants Chinese soldiers?
If you’re paying any attention to this you have to see it’s got to be intentional. There are too many bad decisions. You have to wonder if our leaders are either that dumb or blinded by their hubris.
There might be one difference between the US and Rome: Roman leaders didn’t have the resources and psychological knowledge to pull off a takedown of its Empire. The US has plenty of resources, volumes of psychological information, and almost two millennia of technological advancement to pull off its takedown.
Rome’s fall wasn’t intentional. The emperors became fat and incompetent, living off the accomplishments of their ancestors, and couldn’t save a dying nation. In the US, politicians know exactly what they’re doing, which is getting fat off a nation they’re killing.
